This book gets right to it and keeps it going. I will not tell you what your going to read except it was hard to put down. I usually do not read this style but enjoyed it for what it is. The ending will not be a surprise but it was fun getting to it. I gave it 4 stars because I only give 5 stars to books I'll read again and again. If you love to read, just to read then you will enjoy it. If you are looking for some profound insight move on to some other book. This ones just for fun!

Ms Hitchcock never disappoints. I love the way her mind works and how she seamlessly weaves her story and really catches all your attention and then, just when you are feeling smug cause you have figured it all out, she hits you with another perspective you have not thought about. Read all her books, they are that good.

I listened to this audio for an Around the World challenge for the location of Barbados. It was a great look at the rich and powerful people in New York society and how they act. It was well-written and suspense-filled with plot twists and turns and a surprise ending. I found many of the characters quite humorous which made the book very entertaining. It has all the elements of a great summer beach read: murder, mystery, scandal and intrigue. I highly recommend this book to those who love light mystery with lots of humor.
