I loved this book, I will check out Ms. Sharon's previous books and look forward to her future books. This book keeps a good steady pace and makes you want to hold onto to it until you have read every word.

Well written, interesting, and good characterization. There is one quality that makes me hestitate to hunt up other titles by this author; the plot consists of a seemingly endless series of misunderstandings and snafus. About half way thru, I seriously thought the author was about to wrap up the storyline. But no, more misunderstands, and more, and yet more. Otherwise a very good book.

This is the first book I've read of this author and have to say I am very impressed. She brought her characters, Isabel and Lord Ashby to life. I got so completely caught up in this story I didn't want to put it down. Although the backcover is a little misleading, the over all story is great!

Awesome book! I truly enjoyed this book and was glad it was a tad bit longer than the average smut book. This author did an amazing job of portraying her characters as real people. The hero in this book is sinfully delicious, but believes he is hideously scarred from his campaigns against the French. Ms. Sharon does an excellent job showing his weaknesses and insecurities without emasculating him. For once, the hero is more three dimensional than in your typical smut book. The heroine is spirited, but has a big heart and generous nature who loves the hero and tries to save him from himself. I love this kind of heroine, instead of the fiesty, prickly type that is always fighting the hero and/or their passion. Best of all, this is a story about LOVE. There is not much mystery, or danger, or intrigue. It is simply about two people trying to find each other. Beautiful and well written...I highly recommend it. I will be looking for more by this author!

If you love Beauty and the Beast, then you will love this book. It has all the elements I look for in a book a sweet romance, passion, tortured hero, seduction and the list goes on. Rona Sharon is a top romance author. FYI: Wicked Pirate was also fantastic.
