This book was poorly researched with sloppy methodology. Many of the author's points can be simply and objectively refuted based simple history - even if you are not a Catholic, you can still see the problems with Mr. Coffey's research. As a professional historian, I would NOT recommend this book. There are ways to dialogue about Catholic/Protestant differences without resulting to omitting information and misrepresenting facts.
