Loved the beginning of this series, but the series lost its fire long ago. Only for those who really love the characters of this series, myself included.
The Omen Machine an ancient, mysterious and indestructible device in the very core of the royal palace. Palace intrigue, magic, good vs evil, a new and deadly and powerful enemy, always favorite themes. Richard and Khalan's lives in peril. A wholly satisfying read, and an ending with issues unresolved...and another and hopefully many more books yet to come.
