I thoroughly enjoyed this book; it has a bit of everything. There is a love story, between the main character, who was raised conservatively and a young man from a more modern family. This gives a bit of insight into different Indian lifestyles. The man's family owns a factory, which brings in a story line of the dissension between Hindu and Muslim. Then the main character travels to the US, for another outlook.
Well done, read it through in one day, as I wanted to know how everything ended.
