I really like these cookbooks (Gooseberry) but I do have a warning!!! When there are recipes for dogs (biscuits and such) PLEASE DO NOT add any onion, garlic, or raisins. They can be toxic and deadly for a dog. Please check this out on any "vet" web-site. Many older cookbooks contain these ingredients for animals and I cringe to think how many people might have had a tragedy because of this lack of information. - - - The people recipes are great though, and I end up ripping out those pages or making notes on the pet recipes before passing on the books. Please take care not to use the above ingredients in the recipes on pages 183 and 184 of this book!!!
