Originally published in 1936 and in print ever since. This book published 1979. Title page says, (and take it as given by a wild story teller) "Being a True Account of The Seemingly Incredible Exploits and Inventions of the GRAT PAUL BUNYAN, Profusely Illustrated with Drawings Made at the Scene by the Author . . . "
