copyright2005 A Harlequin Historical #780 this book is about a family in Oklahoma, With a girls family ,she meets a guy, then they become a family,But its not easy to Honer and Protect, When the fact that Loris was carrying another mans baby, This is a very good read, it had me crying some what ,it captures gentleness in the midst of heart -wrenching challenges portraying extraordinary possibities with in ordinary marital love ,Its so soft, to think of the love two people could have ,
Good old fashioned western romance. James gets Loris pregnant and then skips town. What can Conner do, but marry the girl that his brother "ruined". Along the way Conner finds his passion for Loris far outweighs his feelings of betrayal that she is carrying his brother's child.

The fact that Loris Peterson was carrying another man's child should have been enough to make Connor Webster despise her. But instead, he'd made her his wife!
Some said that she had betrayed him. But Connor's fierce passion for Loris moved him to rescue her from an uncaring family-and protect her from a mysterious enemy....
Turns out she was engaged to Connor and then winds up pregnant by his brother James. Then James leaves.
