Val can't believe what people in her town are saying. They think deer should be shot because they are too many of them. Worse yet, Val finds out her best friend Toby not only agrees with these people, but he also likes to hunt. When Val finds a wounded doe and tries to save it, she and Toby lock horns. Oh deer, what will Val do now?
