I'm cleaning off the shelves and have some books to available.  Since I am not in need of credits I REALLY want to keep my mailing costs low. So priority will be given to larger requests (preferably greater than 5). Requests will be accepted through Friday 10/23 and mailed out on Saturday. Remaining books will be taken to the Friends of Library store at my local library.   I will not mail out requests with less than 3 books due to shipping costs. All books were wishlisted at of this posting.

I have posted ARCs to wishlists many times in the past (over the last 7 years I have been using PBS) and it is okay to do as long as the person requesting the book knows it is an ARC.  Many times people will request the book and either ask me to post the ARC to their wishlist or PM me a credit for it and leave the original book on their wishlist so that they can stay in line for a final copy as well.  A lot of people collect ARCs and/or like to get their hands on a book before the actual release date.

I disclose that the books are ARCs in the posting (as above) and if someone requests an ARC from me I PM them to make sure they know it is an ARC and find out if they want it posted to their WL or want to exchange for a credit.  It's never been an issue for me in the past, you just need to be careful and make sure the requester knows it is an ARC.

Karissa, per PBS guidelines, ARCs may not be posted to someone's WL.  There is a thread in the BB just for swapping ARCs here.  This is from the moderator's first post in that thread:

You are NOT allowed to post these ARC's directly to someone's Wish List, so don't ask!!   While I understand the desire to create a transaction that can be followed and that you can purchase PBS-Postage for, this violates the posting criteria.  When you post a book to someone's WL, you are agreeing that the book meets PBS posting criteria...one of which is agreeing that the book is NOT an ARC.  So if you're posting an ARC to the WL, you are blatantly violating this rule.  The best way to send ARCs is to use the Mail to a Friend option.  This allows you to be able to print PBS Postage and provide a tracking number for the person you are mailing to and be able to keep track of the book you're sending.  Credits for these transactions are to be buddied between the two members.
