Jess Harris has just come back to Birmingham after leaving right out of hs. She takes a job working for the ex love of her life, Daniel Burnett.
The Faces of Evil series is one of my favorite series out there. Debra Webb definitely knows her stuff as far as forensics, police procedures, etc and boy can she write a story. Start out with this book and go thru up to 6( bk 7 out later this month) and she has a Christmas Prequel out on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Silence-Faces-Evil-Christmas-Prequel-ebook/dp/B00FM7IUXK/ref=sr_1_1_title_0_main?ie=UTF8&qid=1384190179&sr=8-1&keywords=silence+by+debra+Webb

The best thing about this book is the cover and name of the series. Very flat characters and uninteresting writing. I read 95 pages expecting some suspense or compelling plot to develop. Very disappointing. On top of that there is noticeable unnecessary profanity. Total waste of time trying to read this lame book.

I really enjoyed this book. Lots of action and the characters were well done.
If you read this book, you might want to order "Impulse" the next in the series of "faces of evil" because this one ends in a cliff hanger. Obsession give you a preview of Impulse which only leaves you wanting more.
