Gotta love it when non-Catholics spout forth their opinions of the Church as if they are facts, judge the Catholic Church for its beliefs as they see them, and condemn the Church for not going along with their views on how things should be. This author obviously has a personal agenda...a very liberal and biased one against the Church, that she is trying to advance it under the guise of writing about nuns. As an author, who should be concerned about the truth and facts, Piazza is incredibly misinformed about the Church's doctrines and she selfishly uses these nuns to voice her own views on various social and political subjects. The nuns profiled here do indeed have impressive track records, however Piazza only proves why the Vatican is justified in reviewing the nuns in the U.S. - nuns who are pro-abortion have NO place in the Catholic Church. And nuns who fight for women to be priest clearly do no understand the doctrines of the Church.
