The 2nd in the series, but can be read without reading the first. I love this author's writing style in which she gives her characters quick wit and realistic depth. Maggie learns about love, honesty, and relationships all while trying to shield her almost teenage daughter from the facts about her bilogical father. A quick read with some great new vocabulary words!
