This book made me love Rachel Gibson. It is a very enjoyable book filled with romance, sex and love. The main characters are Chelsea Ross and Mark Bressler. Mark is a pro hockey player who has been sidelined by a terrible car accident. He is angry at the world due to the fact that his injuries prevent him from every playing hockey again. Chelsea is a C list actress who has been hired as his personal assistant. Mark has a very bad attitude and he's less than pleased when Chelsea shows up at his door. All Mark wants is to be left alone. But Chelsea is determined to do her job and earn the $10,000 payoff that the hockey league is promising her if she sticks it out as his assistant. As Chelsea makes herself invaluable to Mark, sparks begin to fly between them. This is a great book. I loved it so much I actually went back and reread the great scenes. Rachel Gibson has a real talent for developing tension between her characters and then having them fall in lust, then love.

This is the second book of Rachel Gibson's I have read (See Jane Score being the other one) and it was good, but not great. She develops her characters very well and makes it a fun read, but the ending seemed forced and rushed similar to the ending in See Jane Score. I'd still recommend this book though.

A cute quick read but well worth it. Good story.
