Fun time travel romp. The humor and British settings remind me a bit of Douglas Adams.

I love Connie Willis' ability to stick her characters in the most awkward settings but still have us understand how they are feeling in the situation because it does ring true...

Not quite as good as her previous effort, _The Doomsday Book_, but a very, very good read nonetheless.

I read the Jerome original and saw the Stoppard play. This is the best of the lot and the only one I recommend.
