Hi, my name is Bentley. I'm a mutt with a dash of pit bull in the soup, and I have issues. I'm not likely to win any beauty pageants, and I'm afraid of cats. But my human, Norah Kent, thinks I'm the greatest despite all my shortcomings.
The problem is Norah won't go out with anyone who doesn't like me. Norah says she's perfectly happy being single, and that in God's time she'll marry Mr. Right. But I think God's time may be right now, and Mr. Right may be Officer Nick Haley - the one guy who's afraid of a kitten-fearing basket cas of a dog like me. I'll do just about anything to bring Norah and Nick together, even if I have to ...gulp...woof.

***Not written from the dog's viewpoint as the jacket alludes to. Cute, funny and well written. Lots of insite into facing your fears with God's help.

"Life, faith and getting it right"
This is the first time I have ever picked up and actually read a "faith-based" novel. If it wasn't for the name and the picture of the adorable pup on the front cover I probably would have passed right over it. However, I am a sucker for an animal on any book cover. To my surprise, I really enjoyed this book. It was a light and quick read...(Stayed up well past my bedtime to get it finished). There wasn't too much religion, just enough to make the story fit together nicely. I don't think I will go running right out for more of this type of book, but for a first time read I definitely enjoyed it and however, wouldn't run away from these books either. Very enjoyable.

I really loved this book. It was hilarious! I quicky bought a bunch of her other books and have not been dissapointed. This is the first book I have read where the dog has an opinion, but it does not make it cheesy.

Loved this book; I have read it twice. Great humor that usually involves animals. Good character development. Good plot

I love books about animals, and I do like romances that incorporate faith (the Romancing America series is on of my favorites). I thought for sure this would be another great book for my inspirational romance collection.

Sadly, I found it too pushy. I know this book deals with having faith in God and as I said before, I love those kinds of stories and think that is a great thing. But this just came off as really pushy, even for my tastes, not to mention the book seemed very slow and repetitive. I would finish a chapter and start into another-the next chapter seemed almost exactly like the one before it!

I think I'll try a different author as this one did not have enough interesting plot development for me.
