So not what I expected from either of these writers, but I will say it is an interesting topic. Not so much the connection related to the internet but the fact that noise and microwave noise is, in real life, being experimented with as weapons. As soon as the first attack happened, I thought of all those political people in the DC area being hit by noises and then becoming disabled, in some cases permanent. There are experiments taking place right now that make the beginning seem realistic. Once they get to what is going on, not so much for me. But end of the day this is not really very well written, it was too much of a hurry.

I like to read most James Patterson books but here's what played out with this one:
I loved how it started. Drew me in...
1/3 the way in, I set it down, never to return...
I returned. I hated it. The characters weren't developed and I just didn't care.
I got confused. So confused... I skimmed... hoping it would improve...
The ending was a quick two page wrap up, with none of my questions resolved.

I wanted to give this a great rating but I can't!

I read past the 3/4 mark but couldn't finish it, I skipped enough to find the 'reason' for the noise but OMG it was ridiculous

This book is 400+ pages but should be only 300 at the most, repeat repeat repeat, the story moves so slow and just goes over the same thing over and over (did I say repeat?), even when I got to that 3/4 point? nothing was moving along except devastation and lots of gore but nothing was getting resolved---sooooo--I skipped ahead enough to get to the 'solution'? and ????? dumb!
