Book was good, but it dragged on (and on). Its a book that could have been 1/3 of its size, and the same story could have been told.

Hysterical! The characters were so vivid. The main character is a bumbling loser who glides through life on wit alone. Despite all this he ends up being a likable underachiever. I couldn't put it down.

Very well written story about blue-collar living and the many people that muddle through it. His stories are always well written and they always keep one interested in their outcomes.

Russo novels made witty and enjoyable reading. Russo captures the feel of everyday life and how difficult even small relationships can become. A great winter evening read.
