This a start of new series? I like the Erika Foster series after the first book but I won't continue with this one
The MC is not a likeable person, she is an ex-cop that caught the Nine Elms killer but yet she lost her job? So now 15 years later she teaches criminology at a college, so guess what? there are murders like the ones of the Nine Elms killer (which is now in a mental hospital) so the cops call her in on the case? really? I doubt very much cops are going to call a college teacher to help them but oh well
I read in Amazon reviews that this book is gruesome, graphic violence, descriptions of gory crime scenes, so this is just a 'heads up' as to what to expect
I'm giving it low rating because it is written in a format that I find irritating and that is mostly descriptions or 'thoughts'--so boring
