My copy is the first printing from 1981. The cover art is beautiful.
This is the story of Hawk, the illigitimate and half Indian son of big time rancher and land speculator JB Faulkner. It chronicles the early half of his life, his involvement with his family and a family friend, Lanna Marshall.
