Handsome surfer dude & beautiful former model hook up. That's about it. She likes slightly kinky sex & he's not gonna say no. She's rich, designs lingerie, & has a spy in her workroom. He's poor, but smart, & they manage to have a happy ending. End of story. There's no emotional involvement & it's hard to like the characters in this story. Maybe I'm jaded, but she struck me as selfish, self-centered, & spoiled. For a college graduate in marine biology, he came off as just plain stupid. The sex was kinda interesting, but the rest of the book was just blah, & I didn't really care about what happened to them.

I've read a couple of Noelle Mack books and like them, however her storyline is always missing something. The story starts good and stays that way up until the end when it jumps to a year later. The time lapse just doesn't make sense. The story leaves off so much and seems to jump to the conclusion without making sense.

Other than that the story was good and the hot and exciting chemistry between the main characters was good too. I'm not sure if I'll read another of her books, but I'm open to it.
