A 21st-century parody of the Choose Your Own Adventure books published from the mid-1970s through mid-'90s. Sort of a Choose Your Own Romance.

in night of a thousand boyfriends, you're going to have dinner with a man you've never met. it could be the perfect blind date- but the road to romance is fraught with danger:torn stockings, obnoxious roommates, maxed out ATM cards, aduterous husbands, and wrose. Can you surmount these obstecles and find true love? or will you be alone in bed, remote control in hand, by 9:30? it all depends on the choices you make.
if you suggest that things arem oving a little too fast turn to page88. if you insist that brian run to the drug store for protection, turn to page 67. if you throw caution to the wind and unfasten his belt turn to page 58
what happens next? that depends on you! hwo does the story end?only you can find out!best of all, you can read this book again and again until you've had 24 amazing adventures!

As a kid I loved reading books that let you choose your own adventure so I was looking forward to opening Night of a Thousand Boyfriends. After less than two hours of reading, I went through every ending and even flipped through the book to make sure I hadn't missed anything. The book was enjoyable (I especially enjoyed page 51 😉) but I think it should be noted that it is a very short, light read with many pictures taking up its few pages. But fun for what it is!
