Great reading
This is actually 2 books in one---the first is Night Shift. Cilla O'Roarke is a nighttime radio dj, cool, sexy, confident, and beloved by her audience. One person out there takes his admiration too far and begins to contact her, more and more frequently until it turns into a deadly obsession. Detective Boyd Fletcher is assigned to Cilla's case, his job is to protect her, but then the sparks begin to fly.
Night Shadow is basically a sequel to Night Shift, but this time the heroine is Cilla's younger sister Deborah. This story takes place a few years after Night Shift left off, and Deborah is now an assistant district attorney on a mission to rid her city of crime. Nemesis has the same mission, only he is not on the same side of the law. One night Nemesis saves Deborah from a sudden attack, and afterwards he finds he can't get the stubborn, beautiful attorney out of his head.

Good set of stories, great series
i dont think NOra Roberts can write a BAD story!!! Loved both of them and that they sort of connect is cool too!

Another well written Nora Roberts book. It is a riveting book that keeps the reader on the edge of her seat constantly.

I absolutely loved both of these stories. Everytime I picked it up, I accidentally stayed up way past my bedtime. They were both really great stories.
This is first in the three book series. Good stories. If you like Nora Roberts, you'll enjoy this book.

Night Shift and Night Shadow are both enjoyable stories! Very different with some overlapping characters between the stories.
I was very pleased with this book since I was afraid that it might get too involved with the detective part of the story. But Nora did a good job, kept it interesting without getting into too much detail. Something different for me, but I will read more now that I have tried them.

Night Shift is another great Nora Roberts story. Night Shadow is so terrible you may actually cringe while reading it. Imagine the Shadow meets Batman written as a romance with Vicky Vail as the asst. D.A. Every ridiculous cliche you can think of has been thrown into this story.

This is the 1st 2 stories in the series. I enjoyed the 1st story more then the second. But still an easy read & not boring.
Both strong stories. First is boilerplate thriller...victim falls in love with cop protecting her...they race against time to figure out the bad guy. Second story uses the bit-player sister from the first story as the main character. She falls in love with the driven ex-cop out to save the world. Interesting twist..little like the batman storyline though!

I really enjoyed Night shift, but Night shadow was too Batman-ish for me.

The first story belongs to Cilla. She's a night dj for a popular radio station in Denver. She does a request line as part of her midnight show and picks up a stalker. The police are brought in and of course she falls for the good looking cop, Boyd, although begrudgingly.
It was an interesting story, pretty well written and kept my attention.
The second story belongs to Deborah. Deborah is an Assistant District Attorney responsible for prosecuting the scum in her high crime city. She meets Gage along the way and this is where i lost interest. A handsome devil for sure, she does know how to write a hero! However, after waking from almost a year long coma he finds he has the power to turn himself invisible. So he plays this secondary role, Nemesis, the vigilante hero keeping the streets clean after dark. Of course Deborah doesn't realize he's one in the same man. Deborah and Gage were really great together, some pretty hot and romantic scenes. My favorite part was Deborah's temper, although she never seemed to hold on to it which i found disappointing. She'd come storming into a room spitting mad, Gage would toss her a simple "i love you" and she'd just melt all over the place.
