Wow! I think this is my new favorite book in the series. I will admit that it was just a touch slow in the beginning and that I was worried that it wasn't going to live up to my expectations. Thankfully, I was very wrong! It quickly picked up and I soon found it difficult to put the book down. We finally get to learn a lot about Dan, which I really appreciated. I've been waiting for more of his story for way too long. :) Now I'm really looking forward to more in this series.

Night of the Loving Dead is the fourth installment in the Pepper Martin Mystery Series. Pepper is in Chicago for a cemetery convention in Ella's place. After all that Ella has done for her Pepper doesn't mind being stuck with a bunch of cemetery enthusiasts......too much. Unfortunately for Pepper, her Gift isn't restricted to just Cleveland, OH. During the very first day at the convention, Pepper bumps into the ghost of Madeline Tremayne.

Madeline says that she needs Pepper's help because Dan is tied up in some "research" program funded by a doctor who isn't using federal aid money the way he should. If Pepper doesn't do her level best to prove to Dan that he's going to go down with the good doctor, Dan will be spending the rest of his days behind federal bars. Pepper is thrown into an investigation that is way more than it looks at face value. And Pepper finds out that not all ghosts are asking for her help to move onto the Great Beyond.

This book was great. I can't wait for the next one to be released, but I've got a little bit of a wait. I'm no fashionista, but I do connect with Pepper. She's a great character. I've also come to care for the secondary characters as well. I hope this is a series that lasts awhile.

This 4th installment of the series was by far the best yet! Pepper is off to Chicago for a conference where she meets the ghost the Madelyn Tremayne. Turns out Madelyn has some dirty tricks up her sleeve and cons Pepper into thinking Dr. Dan is in trouble. I enjoyed this book much better than the other 3 and was gald to finally learn more about Dr. Dan. The plot was well written and took some scarey turns. I reccomend for one to read this series from the begining, and preferably in order. Looking forward to the next installment!

The last thing Pepper wants during her Chicago business trip is more ghosts seeking her help, as they've been doing ever since she hit her head on a tombstone. Then again, being bored stiff during a seminar might actually be worse than being with bored stiffs. â The specter of Madeline--a young woman in a lab coat--wants Pepper's help. Before she died, Madeline worked with Dan Callahan, the sexy, mysterious doctor who once saved Pepper's life. According to Madeline, Dan's in danger. But, little does Pepper know, there's more to the story, including a devious doctor--and an obsessive, crazy love...

This series gets better with each book. Pepper is in Chicago for a cemetary conference (who knew?) when she is approached by the ghost of Madeline Tremayne. Madeline wants Pepper to help Dan out of a sticky situation with his employer. Things are not always as they seem. Dr. Hilton Gerard is running a shady clinic that on the surface is helping the homeless and downtrodden with mental illness. Things get pretty creepy and there is a very interesting twist that I did not see coming. 4 stars!

I've read three of the Pepper Martin series, and enjoyed this one as much as I liked the very first one. There's a slightly different twist this time. Fun!

I found this book dragged a bit more than the others in the series so far. Atill and okay read but a bit predictable.

This was a pretty good book. Although at times I got frustrated with Pepper for not doing what I thought she should! LOL This was the first book I have read in the series but I plan on reading the rest. It was a fun quick read.

Let me first state that I adored this series when it first started, but the fourth and latest installment had me gritting my teeth the whole way through. Pepper was out of character throughout the whole book and the plot was rather weak and obvious compared to Casey Daniels' first three books.

I enjoy this series, but this one was a little bit slow. I also got tired of her potential suiter, Dan, who became one of the prime characters in this book. All in all, this book was just OK, could have been better.
