This book is very interesting. If you are Christian and believe in Christ's return, then this book will make you think. Pulses have hit the earth, and the electricity is out all over the earth. A community tries to get by without electricity. I am enjoying it.

This is the second book in a four book series. It follows up with families in Alabama who are trying to survive after all forms of communication have stopped due to a cosmic event of "pulses". They discover that the event is world-wide, plunging the globe into a real "dark age" of having to survive like cavemen. The author makes the situation so real and probable that you can't help but set up a plan to protect what you have and envision what it would take to stay alive. Lawlessness abides as the days and months drag on -- the story focuses on one family and how they cope with the changes in their lives. The series is very interesting!
