I am a fan of Cherry Adair and her T-FLAC men, but this was not one of her best books. She tries to tell a story of a war-torn, impoverished African country with her T-FLAC wizards and a feisty heroine and it just doesn't work. The characters were one-dimensional, the story flat and the romance unbelievable. Let's hope the next two are better.

Just an ok book. I like the TFLAC better when the guys don't have powers. The ending for me was a little rushed and I would have like to have had more closure on some of the characters.

Just ok for me. I liked her TFLAC books better when they didn't have the paranormal aspect to them.

Not one of her best books. The paranormal doesn;t seem to work,.
I have read almost everything Cherry Adair has written and enjoyed them, but I couldn't get through this one. It was so boring, I stopped halfway through...not sure if it was the paranormal stuff or just the characters, but won't continue this particular "series."
Paranormal action series, somewhat similar to her Edge books.

The heroine's sister appears in Adair's short story Tropical Heat in Rescue Me.
You could probably read 2 before 1 if you had to - but the story arc is moving to completion in 3 so that should definitely be read last.
