The only bad thing I can say about this book is it ended too quickly. It's set in probably my favorite time period, the already magical turn of the 19th century. The sensory details of the circus are described beautifully by the author. The characters are developed beautifully, and as a ready I grew to care a great deal about what happened to them. A great story that I highly recommend.
