I'm new to graphic novels, but I'm a huge WOT fan. The first several chapters are very well drawn, but the last few chapters are clearly by another artist....a bad one. The plot line in the graphic novel is consistent with that of the book, but at times the simplifications needed to take a larger volume down to a thin graphic novel really do detract from your understanding of the book.

My favorite part? Reading Robert Jordan's emails to the illustrators...
