3 1/2 stars -- fairly interesting Sci Fi. I'm not a fan so can't relate it to all the TV shows. It works as a stand-alone novel. Actually 3 short novels bound together.
A new ship, a new crew, a new mission. Captain Mackenzie Calhoun takes command of the U.S.S. Excalibur manned by Starfleet's best and brightest, including some old friends and some new dynamic characters to boldly go where no one has gone before.
The first four novels of the Star Trek: New Frontier series, collected as a paperback-sized hardback. An enjoyable series.
