This book can be comforting for those who have experienced sexual abuse. It can be very difficult to read as the experiences are very detailed and tell it like it happened. It can also provide a person with flashbacks and understanding of what happened to them. Also I have found that it helps me understand why I feel the way I do in certain situations. This book also validates a person to keep the abuser out of your life and remember that no one deserves to be treated the way these women were treated.

Straight forward writing from the hearts and minds of those who know the struggle first hand with practical advice and suggestions for those going through the journey of healing. One of the best books in it's genre I've read - right up there with The Courage to Heal in quality.
