Great Southern regional detective story. If you know the northwest corner of SC you will recognize places and types of people in Cathy Pickens books.
I enjoyed this book and all the previous ones in the series. Interesting characters and 2 mysteries in one story.
Top book pick from Carolina Living. This mystery is set in the small shabby carnivals that tour the South. Great read!
