I really liked this book and didn't want to quit listening to it. I'm horrible at reviews but had to write this anyway, as I disagree with the other reviewer.

Sorry, this was a DNF for me. After reading and loving Ms. Stevens's debut novel, I couldn't wait to read this one. Almost immediately, I was put off by the narrator's voice, and the listening experience was hampered by a very slow, boring and preposterous story line. I didn't like the main character at all and stopped listening about two thirds into the book. I didn't care enough to find out what happened at the end. Diasappointing.
