This was the first book by Geralyn Dawson I have read. I absolutely LOVED it. She can write with suspense and humor and the dialogue between the H/H was fantastic and totally believable. Go out and look for this one. I won't be posting mine as I was lucky enough to meet her and get an autographed copy.

This is the second book in the Callahan Brothers story. Matt Callahan is the oldest brother, known to those in the texas town of Brazos Bend as Demon Callahan, the baddest of the four boys. He rescues Torie Bradshaw from a remote island after mistaking her for her twin sister. She shoots him, accidentally, but before she does they see sparks of a different kind. 18 months later she shows back up in his life after she is the victim of a stalker. Scared and desperate, Torie tracks Matt down in his hometown and begs him to help her find and destroy the person who is trying to get her. Matt is not too happy to see Torie, thinking of her as "The Damned Woman" who caused the end of his CIA career with the gun shot wound he received from her on that island. Unfortunately for Matt, his heart and his brain don't seem to agree when it comes to the "evil" twin, Torie.

This is another great book by Geralyn Dawson. You can't help but love Matt and Torie. They deffinately have a love/hate relationship throughout the book. There are a bunch of great secondary characters as well as a couple of little "purse puppies" that get plenty of page time as well. Very enjoyable read. I can't wait to read the next book which is all about Mark "Devil" Callahan....

Matt can't believe it when Torie invades his Texas home, bringing danger, drama, and a designer dog with her. He is busy battling old ghosts and newer wounds-this intriguing beauty is a distraction he doesn't need. But when the situation explodes, Matt must team with Torie to uncover the identity of a killer. Otherwise, he stands to lose all the things he never thought he wanted...

This was the first book I've read by this author and I've read it twice, which doesn't happen too often. The characters are amazingly vivid and you can't help but like them. Definitely a keeper. Can't wait for the next Callahan Bros. book coming out later in '08.
