I read a couple of web reviews on this book that didn't rate it very highly. It was a pretty good book, there were a few really funny bits, both in the narrative and the dialogue. One in particular made me laugh out loud. When that happens (it is rare), I have to say that the book is good!!

There's only one sure way for fledgling party planner Natalie Beckett to make her Kentucky Derby Eve soiree a success: get reclusive video game creator/billionaire Russell Mullholland to attend. But how can she even get out of the gate with Russell's gorgeous bodyguard, Finn Guthrie, blocking the way? Never let it be said that Natalie doesn't like a challenge, for soon she finds sparring with Finn far more exciting than landing Russell on her VIP guest list.

I have to say that even though I've enjoyed some of this author's previous books this was very disappointing. It started out promising but then it seemed like the story was just rushed along to its conclusion without sustaining the premise of the main characters and their developing relationship. The secondary characters' story was ridiculous and seemed to be just thrown into the mix. I would not recommend this book.
