Better than I had heard - this is a great story revolving around a woman who has to leave behind her adopted son in South America during a coup because of faulty paperwork...and the SEAL who forced her into that decision. If you read Next to Die and remember the "hot tub" scene - Solomon is the Hero of this book.

This is the first Marliss Melton book I have read and I really enjoyed it. Jordan is trying to adopt a Venezuelan orphan and litterally has him ripped from her arms as she is rescued from the area by US SEALS. Her determination to bring the child to the US takes her back to Venezuela after she has fallen in love with the SEAL who plucked her from Venezuela the first time. At the same time, her sister who has lost her husband but is pregnant with his child is opening an equestrian center for handicapped veterans and is reunited with a previous male friend who is recovering from lossing his entire family. It sounds complicated but all works together very nicely. Great easy read!

This whole Navy Seals series is excellent! I love the way Marliss
Melton writes. I'm always anxious for the next book in the series.
