I tried to get into this book, but the beginning was too slow for me. I actually started it on two separate occassions before I finally gave up for the third time over the duration of the several months I had this book.

This was an intense medical thriller with lots of twists and turns. Just when I thought I knew what caused the problems, Palmer deftly took the story in a new direction.
