I like these fast, easy to read mysteries. Hillary hardly ever seems to put a foot wrong, but I like her character. Not too many surprises in the two cases they're working but it's got a nice sense of place and enough tension to keep the plot moving. I was really curious what was going to happen with the Dick Francis novel - seems like that could have rebounded on her in a rather dramatic way.
