Admirably written account of one of the most famous international criminals in Victorian times. Adam Worth was said to be the template for Doyle's Professor Moriarty. Nothing dry about this colorful story: reads like a mystery tale. A bit repetitive in spots, but that does not really detract from enjoyment. I like the Victorian era as a setting and read this tale of a thief with honor with much satisfaction. Well received by book reviewers too.
