This is a wonderful cookbook that taught me to cook some wonderful southern dishes like chicken pot pie from scratch...also the beef stroganoff and blackberry cobbler are to die for. I could go on and on. No....I didn't list this book. I could NEVER part with my copy!!!! LOL

This is the sweetest book with the best recipes! It's such a pleasure to cook with. On the first page, it reads "My solution to America's problems is the kitchen table" and that is the approach it takes. Easy, down-to-earth, delicious recipes. The "Chili Pie" recipe is an absolute favorite in my home, but they are all good!
