I think I may just be in love with Amy Fetzer.

Okay, maybe just her books. But I just finished this one, and have to say I'm just wowed by how good this one was! I'll be honest and say I wasn't expecting to like this one so much so I was completely blown away by how awesome this one turned out to be. And I love the ending! As opposed to some writers, Ms. Fetzer doesn't wait until the very last freaking second to bring her story to a conclusion, which I for one am thankful for!

As for her characters: I seriously loved the heroine! She was tough and smart and and capable! and you aren't told she's got these characteristics you see them by her actions and reactions and feelings and thoughts about all the stuff going on around her.

The Hero, strong intelligent, not stubborn, and barely fought his feelings (which in and of itself is unusual in a romance) along with his buddies were a big plus as well!

The story was well written and there's quite a bit of suspense as well as action, so much so that I spent quite a bit of time on the edge of my seat. And besides the H and h's pov we're treated to a few others, all of which give us a better picture of what's going on.

I will admit though, there were a few things that bugged me. I would have liked to see Alexa, the heroine and the Hero's comrades/friends/whoever to spend more time together. They accepted her a little too readily for me. (Though to be fair, I'd probably be upset if they were too unwilling to get to know her)

Also, some of the transitions from going from a romantic scene to a action/suspense one, or vice versa were a bit choppy... They just didn't seem to flow as well as they could have... Over all though, this was an excellent read.

I unfortunately made the mistake of reading this one before getting copies of the rest in the series, so now I'm on tenterhooks waiting for the others, so a word to the wise: If you can, make sure you've got a couple of the books in the series before you start reading!

I was pleasantly surprised when I read this book, but I did find that it got a little long towards the end & I have to admit I skipped over parts so I could get to the end. Would I read the next one? Yes.

1st I've read by this author and won't be the last. This book kicks off a great mystery, suspense & romance series. Alexa is a CIA undercover operative who wakes up naked, w/no memory. As she tries to piece the 1 month of her memory together she meets up with Killian who has been hired to find her & if necessary kill her. Easier said that done as he falls for her hard & fast. She loses him but he just keeps finding her & saving her.....eventually she will trust but will it be in vain. In the end the 2 of them have each other & Killians team to sort out what happened to her & why. This leads up to 4 more in the series & I can't wait for them.

Romantic thriller with a fast moving storyline. I love both the protaganists. Who wouldn't want a hot man like Killian who would do anything to protect his woman! :) This is the first in the series of books about ex-navy seal men and the women who loves them. It makes me eager for the next one in the series.

Based on reviews and the fact that I loved "Tell it to the Marines," I ordered this series. What a mistake! Every book is choppy. All the elements are there: romance, adventure, archeology, revenge, betrayal, obsessions, drugs, social ills (several per book), and the list goes on and on and on. That is the problem. She has so many elements in these books that we are forced to jump from character to character, scene to scene, topic to topic. Next page, new topic, then back again. Yes, it furthers the plot but at the cost of the smoothness and readability. (Perhaps she should have reduced the number of elements in the books to be able to narrow the focus.)

Please don't think I can't handle multiple plot lines and characters. I do it all the time. And I've read this whole series, though often skimming. I persevered only because I already own them. If they had been library books, I wouldn't have bothered.

This is my first Amy Fetzer book and I found it very interesting. The story involves drug dealers, former marines, clandestine operatives and takes place from Columbia to Hong Kong. Lots of action, of course love, and good strong characters. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Lots of action. Alexa is being hunted for what she does not know. Killian (an ex-marine, sigh) has been assigned the mission of finding her. Lots of hot flames. You may wish to have a cold glass of water handy.

Landestine operative Alexa Gavlin has a new mission-stay alive long enough to learn why her memory of the last thirty days has been chemically erased. She has no country, no contracts, nothing left but an unlikely ally in former marine and retriveal expert Killian Moore.

Blackmailed into hunting down the operative suspected of ruining his career, Killian sees Alexa as nothing more than some sexy vital statisitics and the means to clear his name---until he locks horns with the beautiful agent. He knows Alexa's an expert at deception, yet what they share between the sheets is raw, tender, and very real. But she's on the run again, and Killian knows if he doesn't catch her, the enemy will.

Great adventure book about the government and spies and has a lot of hot sex in it. If you don't want to read about that, this book should not be read. But the story is exciting and I couldn't put it down.

It was a interesting read. Very detailed in the military and covert ops information. I may have skimmed a couple of the paragraphs but overall it was not too bad.

With NAKED TRUTH, author Amy J. Fetzer delivers a romantic suspense novel with no-holds-barred. There's an undercover agent waking up next to a dead man with no memories of the last month and a CIA operative forced into hunting down a suspected rogue agent who just may have caused him his good name within the company. This book definitely starts off with a bang and keeps on delivering.

U.S. Marine Killian Moore went undercover years ago to infiltrate a drug cartel led by an hellacious and evil Colombian. Unfortunately, someone compromised his mission, and although Killian escaped with his life, the military labeled him a tarnished and unreliable agent. Killian has lost his home within the military, and most of his self-esteem-what he hasn't lost, however, is his desire for revenge against the mole who caused his undercover operation to collapse three years ago.

Alexa Gavlin has been undercover herself, attempting to cozy up to the leader of the same cartel that Killian was once hunting. Her cover is blown now, however, thanks to a dead man in her bed and a chemically altered memory of the last month. Now her fellow agents believe she's gone rogue, and have sent one of their own to hunt her down and eliminate the perceived threat. Alexa knows that someone will be coming, but she never counts on Killian being the man ordered to kill her.

The only problem, of course, is that Killian isn't so sure that Alexa is the rogue the military thinks her to be. Too much is happening, to both of them, that seems to suggest there's a terrorist organization working way too closely with the U.S. government to eliminate both of the agents.

NAKED TRUTH is so many things at once-a romantic suspense book, a military operative, an action-adventure story. Overall, this book takes two characters that you know are made for each other, and throws them into situations where one or both of them might not make it out alive. Ms. Fetzer has done a wonderful job of implementing governmental procedures with a backdrop of foreign soil to make you feel as if you're there with the hero and heroine, fighting for freedom right along with them.

Passion unfolds between Killian and Alexa at exactly the right pace, at precisely the right point in the story. The cartel that both operatives have attempted to bring down at points in their lives is brought to vivid life, and the war on terrorism is plainly painted for the reader to see. Overall, NAKED TRUTH is a definite winner for all lovers of the romantic suspense genre-the struggle of the main characters for love and redemption is painstakingly written, and you'll cherish your front-row seat in this exciting and perilous ride.
