Fun read. The hero was a Roman soldier fighting in Britain when his legion was cursed into the bodies of dragons on a different plane. Now he's been moved back into the body of a [mostly] human male in Salem, Massachusetts. He doesn't speak the language or understand the culture so it's really lucky that local witch Vivica collects him and helps ease him into the skills he needs. She then sends him to the heroine who is in desperate of a handyman to fix up her aging home so she can open the house as a bed and breakfast before the house is foreclosed on. Unfortunately he doesn't know which end of a tool to grasp...but he IS a fast learner.

The heroine is frequently bemused by her strange handyman and the odd things that seem to happen around him. Inevitably sparks fly - deadlines press - and everyone rises to the occasion to pull off a successful launch of the B&B.

Action based plot with suspense, humor, and romance. Characters are fun and quirky 'critters' liven things up. The heroine from her Kitchen Witch has a bit part...

I enjoyed it - hopefully we'll see more of his 'brother dragons' although the teaser for the sequel didn't seem like it was going there.

This book was even funnier than Sandra Hill's Viking series. Bastian is not a man who can shift to dragon but a dragon who was forcibly shifted to man. He has serious trouble adjusting to Earth though he is a fast learner. His quest is to find his heart mate and make her quest his own in order to save his brother dragons back home from Killian, the evil Crone of Chaos.

How can you not like a guy with this sense of humor? Bastian arrives on Earth and instantly has these thoughts: So this is rescue? puncture wounds in my backside, reeking edibles (skunks), vengeful spirits (pixies and witches), cold feet and a flawed man spike (a man lance did not normally have such length, a flaw like movable scales beneath its skin, nor an arrowed tip like a dragons tail.) Too funny, poor guy.
Remember Bastian thinks and acts like a dragon not a man so he is deadly serious with this talk but man was it funny.

The antics of Jaunty, the cat and the pixie, called Dewcup, are absolutely hysterical. The cats walks around with a tissue box for a hat and the pixie rides him like a horse. Just too funny. Poor Bastien is the only one who can see the pixie so he tries to stifle his laughter so he doesn't have to explain his imaginary friends.

I laughed and cried thoughout this book. It was an incredibly romantic story with the usual (er, unusual) ups and downs of hero and heroine. Annette Blair has done it again. I can't wait to read Jaydun's story next.

First let me say that I did enjoy reading this book. It was light and fun. However their were 2 back ground characters (Jock and Dewcup) that should have been condensed into 1. There was no reason for Jock beyond the author seemed to think it was cute. There could be some hope that he would have something more in later books but when I read an exerpt for Bedeviled Angle, I learned that it has nothing to do with the dragons quest and the connecting link is just the Works like Magic place. Allin all, I was dissapointed.

Cute Read, not one of Annette Blair's best but this series might have potential. Vivica is a witch with an employment agency for other-worldly magicals, she matches hot roman solider turned dragon turned man with McKenna Greylock, who needs a handy-man to repair her new Bed and Breakfast before the bank takes it. Spirits, fairy's, ghost relatives, demons, mayhem and romance fill this rainy day/pool read. Surprise visit from one of Blair's Witch series books!

I really enjoyed this book! Parts of it were just downright silly, yes, but overall it had me laughing so much with Bastian's language errors and social mistakes that I couldn't help but enjoy the book! It was a cute, quick read. I hope that the second one in the series is as good.

Naked Dragon is a fun lighthearted romp. Heavy on inuendo, with a lot of spark, and snappy dialogue. The female lead is a sassy plus-sized gal who has absolutely no time for a man. She's on a very short clock to turn her mostly falling down homestead into a sucessfull B&B before the bank forcloses. She's in a pickle - her contrator just broke a leg, and she needs a fill-in NOW.

The male lead is a dragon, well he was a dragon, now he's a man who may or may not be able to turn back into a dragon - the jury's still out on that one. In order to save his brothers from a limbo-type hades he must find his heartmate and help her complete her quest. Thanks to a magical employment agency he got the job helping the heroine finish her restoration. He doesn't know the first thing about carpentry or much about being human either.

The Language issues are histerical.

I am finding that my interest in this genre has waned and I didn't enjoy this book at all. It's typical format for the genre.

For those who enjoy the "one-true-mate" stories, this is for you.
