I really didn't care for these short stories, which is why I put it up for swap - not worth a second read.
I bought it for the Jim Butcher story, which was average, the Patricia Briggs story lacked... character development of the main character. The Holly Black story was just strange, and so forth. traded it!

I am more than halfway through this collection, and I have to say that I am deeply enjoying it. The Patricia Briggs story is not as good as her other stories, but it's still a good one; the rest have definitely kept my interest. I'm surprised that the other review is so negative, so that's why I'm posting mine. :)

I picked up this book solely to read "Curses" by Jim Butcher.

Wizard Harry Dresden is hired to life a curse that stops the Chicago Cubs from winning the world series. Harry must figure out who made the curse and how it is still in effect after several decades.

I'm a huge fan of The Dresden Files, but I found this story just "OK". Thirty pages is way too short to really get into a good story. My rating: 3 Stars.
