This is a great book because it describes how kids (and adults!) sometimes feel jealous when someone who is sick (or facing another kind of problem) gets a lot of attention. Big Bird is sad that everyone is going to play with Ernie, who has a cold, so Big Bird decides to pretend to be sick himself! At first it works, but when Big Bird comes down with a real cold, he is too sick to enjoy all his friends. This is a good, simple book that portrays real feelings and teaches a good lesson.
