You'll never read a fairy tale the same way again
When I recieved these books I was hoping for some seriously hot erotica and instead recieved some seriously over the top BDSM! There was not much enjoyment to take from these books at all! Just lots of agony from the charaters just for the sake of domination. The tourture seems to never end - I suppose that's the point?? Yuk!
Perverse, repulsive and derivative, lacking even the literary qualities of the Story of O. If your idea of female empowerment is surrendering your entire life and mind to a man, there is this guy in prison in California named Charles Manson who you might enjoy talking to. Post-feminism doesn't enter into it, this is just plain awful and Rice is capable of so much better.
