This book was one of my all-time favorites when I was a child. I found another copy a few years ago and now I read it, at least, once a year. What a great tale of forgiveness. The illustrations roped me in and took my imagination soaring.

A cute little tale about some forest animals. Flying squirrel gets caught up in trying to regain his good name by helping to foil Weasel and his gang.

(From back cover:)
Weasel stuck his head out of the window and whistled. A dark cloud came out and floated past him.

Bat looked on from his hiding place. He could hardly believe what he had seen. What was the dark cloud? Where did it go? Bat was sure of only one thing - Weasel was up to something crooked again.
