While die-hard mystery and crime buffs will likely find the trivia in this book to be a fun challenge, casual readers will be lucky to be able to answer even a few questions. It is a great collection of trivia, but is simply too obscure for a typical reader, especially if they happen to be young as well, since it isn't unusual to see this book reference a short detective or crime story written in the 1800's or early 1900's.
