My 10 Year old son loves anything Sherlock Holmes. We even painted his door like 221B Baker street. He has read the originals (skimmed, probably!), Encyclopedia Brown books, the 100 Year Secret books by Tracy Barrett (both Holmesian re-boots for kids) and loved them all. He was a little past this illustrated version, reading wise, but he loved seeing the pictures. He has not seen any of the movies or TV shows yet. Maybe I should try him him on tamer old Basil Rathbone films! Great for kids who like Sherlock Holmes. Have a kid who loves Sherlock and need more titles to recommend? Just PM me.
