Music for Torching was good, somewhat affecting, but mostly just too crazy. My favorite parts were when the two main characters had a long commentary in their heads, but not so much when they were interacting with one another. I also enjoyed the flashback to before they were married. Interesting to see the progression, although is a very sad, hopeless view on the evolution of a marriage.

Wow! I am a big fan of Homes, and this one did not disappoint me. A nightmarish look at suburbia; sometimes funny and sometimes harrowing.

Again, here's an author that I read RAVES about on amazon--- she definitely has obsessive fans, calling her "delightful" and "wonderful". But alas, I am not one of them. I was disappointed by the quality of her writing, but I guess I just didn't realize this is more for the masses than someone who enjoys a literary novel. It's definitely "sick and twisted", but in a really boring way.
