Kelly Quinn inherited her grandmother's consignment shop in her hometown of Lucky Cove, NY. She always dreamed of owning her own upscale boutique in Manhattan, but this is the next best thing. While having a sale to get rid of older merchandise at the shop, a local psychic tries on a little black dress and has a vision of a man being murdered. Suddenly everyone in town is talking about the haunted dress and business has dwindled down to nothing. Kelly decides to use her sleuthing skills to see if the psychic's gift is real and there was a murder attached to the dress.

This cozy mystery started off well, but lost steam. I found the heroine annoying, especially when she decided that harboring a fugitive from the police was a good idea. She made a few too many dumb moves for me. As far as the mystery, I thought I had it figured out but it turned out I was wrong. The identity of the villain was a surprise. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
