Murder Tightly Knit, the second book in the Amish Village Mystery Series, is another lively story set in this picturesque shopping village in Middlebury, Ohio. It is fun to meet up again with characters from the first book, but you can still enjoy the story, if you haven't read Murder Simply Brewed. I appreciate the spiritual themes that come through in this novel, particularly the sovereignty of God. I was especially happy to see that the similarities between Christian beliefs are emphasized, rather than the differences. You don't have to be an Amish fan to enjoy this book, so if you like cozy mysteries, I hope you will give this one a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
